Nate will also share some of his magic secrets so you can wow your friends. 11 am; complimentary; cancel by April 13 N E W Parent Lecture: The Importance of Routine with Christy Brady Smith, PhD Wednesday, May 20 Doctor Christy Brady Smith, owner of Nature Nurture Knowledge, is on a mission to help families simplify the world of child development and parenting research. Christy comes to the WAC with tips, tricks and rules for setting up your parenting style for success by sharing how family routines help nurture your child's development and can mitigate behavior problems. By breaking down all of the contradictory information available in the realm of child development, Christy will use her research background to provide parents with methods to set routines in a clear, organized and realistic fashion. Christy earned her doctorate in developmental psychology at Columbia University but maintains that her three children have taught, tested and honed her knowledge more than any book or class.
