The sport dates to the early 1900s and was originally used for practical purposes during wartime as a way to master shooting flying targets. With that history, let's jump on a motor coach and head to Ravensdale and the Seattle Skeet & Trap Club. We'll kick off the adventure with a discussion about gun safety instruction, field rules, eye dominance, alignment, and proper stance. We'll wear safety gear, including earplugs and goggles, and get ready to take aim. Instructors will assist you on the field as you shoot up to 50 shots. Then enjoy barbecue and beer at Rooters Famous BBQ. Adventures in Skeet includes round-trip transportation from the WAC, instruction, safety gear, 50 shells, gun rental, beer, and food. Must be 18+ to participate.
