This musical is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic. It contains all the loved songs from the Oscar-winning movie score, the favorite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way (including new songs). So click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts' desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys as you rediscover the real story of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for the whole family. Thursday, October 10; 7:30 pm; $63 Saturday, October 12; 2 pm; $71 NEW Priscilla Queen of the Desert November 14–16 This fun musical tells the uplifting story of two drag queens and a transsexual. The play follows the trio on a road trip of a lifetime when they hop aboard a battered old lavender bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback. The three end up finding more than they could have ever imagined. As they head west from Sydney aboard their lavender bus, named Priscilla, they come to the forefront of comedic errors, encountering a number of strange characters and incidents of homophobia that widen their comfort zones and allow them to find new horizons. An international hit, it won the 2011 Tony Award for costumes. Priscilla Queen of the Desert features a hit parade of dance floor favorites, including, "It's Raining Men," "Finally," and "I Will Survive." The Hollywood Reporter calls it "funny and holiday schedule fabulous! Joyous entertainment with eyepopping visuals and unexpected heart!"
