The experts at Poquitos will share the mezcal distillation and production processes and how it compares to tequila. Let your senses lead the way as you smell, taste and mix while winemakers guide you through every step of wine's evolution—from grape to bottle and everywhere in between. No need to stomp on grapes. The wines will be aged and ready to be blended and bottled. Learn about technique, fermentation and analysis while enjoying some delicious bites from the Book Bindery. All you need is a passion for great wine. If you love steaming clams and mussels, making clam chowder, slurping fresh oysters, or cracking crab, then join us at the family's bivalve boutique in Capitol Hill's Melrose Market for our private evening of tastings, demonstrations and shucking. The raw bar will feature unlimited oysters—think Kumamotos, Shigokus, Olympias, Pacifics and Virginicas—or you can sample oysters from their live tank.
