Club Programs Smells like team spirit Join a WAC event planning committee this year Here's a great way to share your ideas, make things happen, meet other members, and be a part of the soul of the WAC— volunteer to serve on a WAC event planning committee. Contact Club Programs by July 1 with your first and second choice of committee. 2013–2014 EvEnt Planning CommittEEs ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT TWENTIES/THIRTIES Collaborate on arts-related events and experiences that are just plain fun. This committee plans events like Hot Parties at Seattle Glassblowing, Pizza Classes at Serious Pie, and A Night at The Seattle Great Wheel. Committee meets monthly on Tuesdays from 6–7 pm. This committee is for members ages 21–40 wac and hosts popular events for members of all ages, including WAC Link Quarterly, Tubing & Brews, and Taste of Downtown. Committee meets monthly on Tuesdays from 6–7 pm. Committee member requirements • Attend and contribute to at least 80 percent of monthly meetings (September through April) IN THE KNOW Hands-on events and unique topics keep this committee busy. Events on its list include cooking classes, distillery tastings, and the ever-popular GingerMania. Committee meets monthly on Tuesdays from 6–7 pm. • Participate in at least 50 percent of committee-planned events • Be a well-informed and proactive WAC ambassador NORTHWEST DISCOVERY FAMILY ACTIVITIES Add your ideas to the successful list of WAC family events and traditions like annual parent-child banquets, holiday shows, and family-focused events. Committee meets monthly on Wednesdays from 6:30–7:30 pm. Day-tripping keeps WAC members moving. This active committee plans everything from art breakfasts at Chihuly Garden and Glass to a night at the Governor's Inaugural Ball. Join members in search of interesting places to discover, explore and enjoy. Committee meets monthly on Wednesdays from 10–11 am. Volunteers attend three training sessions in November and work the blackjack, craps, and roulette tables on Jubilee night. This year, the party takes place on Friday, December 6. ™
