Jubilette
First introduced in December 1953,
the Jubilette, or "Doe Dinner," was held
a week after the men's Jubilee Smoker.
It didn't take long for the prizes and
glamour of Jubilette to rival that of the
men's celebration. WAC News promised
"nothing impractical such as electrical
appliances" but rather mink stoles,
rhinestone-studded cocktail umbrellas,
diamond wristwatches, pearl accessories,
and more.

WAC Magazine.
