It didn't take long for the prizes and glamour of Jubilette to rival that of the men's celebration. WAC News promised "nothing impractical such as electrical appliances" but rather mink stoles, rhinestone-studded cocktail umbrellas, diamond wristwatches, pearl accessories, and more. —Madelyn Reese is an editorial intern of WAC Magazine.
