Friday, December 4 Voila! It's time to celebrate the art of the party at the WAC's signature celebration—Jubilee. We're breaking out the bubbly and painting this special evening with a flourish of fabulous food, entertainment, and celebration as we kick off the Club's 86th year. Gather your guests, find something stunning to wear, and make reservations for the Art of Celebration. Start with the moveable feast, deliciously inspired by some of the world's most famous artists. Try the Italian- inspired menu at "da Vinci's" as the Eric Verlinde Trio featuring tenor Marcus Shelton serenades you. Soup's on at "Warhol's" for a modern eclectic menu set to the music of the Darren Motamedy Jazz Trio. "Toulouse" features French-inspired fare and gypsy-jazz favorite Pearl Django. The taste of Spain awaits at "Picasso's," where lively New Age Flamenco sets a Latin mood. Ahhh ... but the night is still young! Will you try your luck at blackjack, craps and roulette in the Crystal Casino? Or take to the dance floor to swoon to The Dudley Manlove Quartet, back by popular demand and featuring everything from swinging '60s tunes to romantic '80s synthpop. And because everyone wants to dance, a second dance floor will also be hopping as a deejay dance party plays your favorite requests late into the night. Refresh with late-night desserts and later-night breakfast as the party rocks and rolls. Psychics, photographers, and plenty of surprises await. 7 pm–1 am; reserve by November 13: $115 members, $135 guests; reserve after November 13: $130 members, $155 guests; cancel by November 23 Share the Club you love! Guests with members are encouraged at Club events. L U K E R U TA N 38 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2015 CLUB PROGRAMS Adventures in entertainment
