Although most people are asleep, the Inn is in good hands. "Since joining the team in 2012, Tyrhas has proven to be one of our most reliable team members," Director of Hotel Operations Kamil Turczanski says. "She is highly respected for her professional demeanor, sense of ownership, for her work, and for the way she leads the evening team." Former Front Office Supervisor Harry Lubas, who now works in WAC Accounting, calls Tyrhas an integral part of the Inn team. "She is very professional, delivers great service, and personifies leadership by taking ownership of issues," he says. Night bellman Rhandele Dusich agrees. "Tyrhas takes care of not only the Inn guests but members as well," Rhandele says. "She exhibits the values of the Club and is very deserving of this award." Yuriy came to the U.S. from Ukraine six years ago. He spent a year in Chicago before relocating to Seattle, where he found employment at the WAC. Yuriy started in the 3rd Floor kitchen and became a familiar face at banquets and in the employee dining room. Now he works in the 2nd Floor dish room and assists the kitchen when needed. Yuriy is known for his focused work ethic, proactivity, and dedication on the job. "He's our 2nd Floor dishwashing superstar," Vice President Food & Beverage Peter Christian says. Executive Chef Eric Floyd concurs. "He is by far the best dish machine operator I have ever seen in the 27 years I have been in the business," Eric says. "His work ethic and performance are second to none." In addition, Eric calls Yuriy "kind, friendly, and trustworthy." Yuriy says he was humbled to be named Team Member of the Month.
