P opping corks, cool jazz, sparkling lights, and a blissful buzz filled the WAC as more than 750 members and their guests kicked off the Club's 85th year and the holiday season. A stellar evening started with a dine-around social of fabulous food and plenty to celebrate. A fanfare grabbed the crowd's attention early for the official welcome by WAC President & CEO Chuck Nelson, followed by an anniversary toast by Chairman of the Board Kip Spencer. Member Ben Brockhaus-Hall and his wife, Marianne Maksirisombat, were attending their first Jubilee and were blown away when Kip announced Ben as the winner of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz. The party then kicked into high gear through- out the first three floors of the Club as bands, a magician, psychics, photographers, portrait artists—and even a human candelabra—lit up the night.
