Teamworks AUSTIN KWAK IT DIRECTOR A recent transplant from Honolulu, Austin has made his mark during his first year and a half at the WAC. He led the transformation of our IT environment and systematically addressed our technology needs, bringing in fiber-optic internet, pulling miles of network cable, and upgrading Wi-Fi throughout the Clubhouse. "Austin is a man of high integrity, holds our vendors accountable, communicates well, and is adept at establishing priorities and juggling the myriad IT help requests that he and his team receive daily," WAC Chief Financial Officer Paul Lowber says. "We look forward to many more IT enhancements under Austin's leadership in the months and years to come." Managing Editor Darrick Meneken says he never ceases to be impressed by the IT team's ability to keep the Club's diverse technology running. "Austin has led our technology infrastructure to a new level," Darrick says. "We're all enjoying faster internet access, and members can now log on to wireless internet in more locations throughout the Club. Maybe more important, Austin leads his team with calmness under pressure and is willing to listen to emergency needs whenever they arise."
