The days are warm, hibiscus flowers are in full bloom, and top golfers from around the world meet in Augusta for one of golf's biggest events—the Masters. If you're planning a trip to this bucket-list experience, I highly recommend a visit to The Pinnacle Club for a dining adventure, as well. Less than five miles from Augusta National Golf Club, this private social club occupies the top two floors of Augusta's most prominent downtown tower, the Wells Fargo Building. The Pinnacle Club has been wowing members with memorable views of the Savannah River since its grand opening in 1967. As expected, the club is chock-full of Southern charm and hospital- ity. With 12 private dining rooms and a sweeping outdoor patio that accommodates up to 300 people, The Pinnacle Club is also a great hub for special events. After a long day of golfing or spectating, enjoy the work of chef Raymond D. Carter. Try his loved jumbo shrimp, a traditional Southern favorite, sautéed with andouille sausage and served over a bed of white cheddar grits. No matter what you order, you'll discover that in Augusta there's a home waiting for WAC members—and more happening than the Masters. THE PINNACLE CLUB Michelle Van Slack is Director Member Services.
