I just feel so grateful to work here." The annual Team Member Awards Banquet, held this past February, honors WAC employees who've shown exceptional leadership. Harry began his career at the WAC four years ago. "Harry's leadership has been an incredible help, " WAC Director Hotel Operations Mike West says. "He is very well-deserving of this recognition." SERIOUS SWIMMERS A DOZEN WAC MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN U.S. MASTERS Swimming's one-hour postal event in January. "This event really challenges swimmers to see what they can do during the off triathlon season," WAC Aquatics Supervisor Jennifer Mesler said. Members from 28 to 68 years old participated. All logged more than a mile. Baird Johnson, 52, finished in the lead with a total of 3,750 yards—more than two miles! "After a hot shower and stretches, I had dinner at Torchy's— which never tasted better," Baird said. A P R I L | 2 0 1 4
