Junior Lifeguarding will introduce participants to the skills needed for entry into the American Red Cross lifeguarding course; communication and decision-making skills; the basic responsibilities of a lifeguard; and the basic knowledge and skills required to be a lifeguard. This course is designed for kids from 11 to 14 years old. Tenyear-olds who have finished fifth grade may also attend.
