Those words will be in your head as you enjoy a classic steam-powered train ride aboard the Chehalis–Centralia's Murder Mystery Dinner Train. Our adventure begins at the WAC, where you'll board a motor coach to Chehalis. During the 90-minute ride, watch Murder, She Wrote episodes to get thinking like a detective. Upon arrival at the railroad depot and museum, step back to another age as costumed staff welcome you aboard a fully restored 1920s dining car, complete with white linen tablecloths, full china, and impeccable waitstaff. Later, as you enjoy a four-course dinner, imagine yourself in the middle of an Agatha Christie murder mystery, with clues and entertainment provided along the way. If you choose to participate, make sure to write down all the clues you discover. Then match wits with other "detectives" as you put on your Sherlock Holmes hat and try to solve the crime. The vintage steam train winds 18 miles through the upper Chehalis River Valley, crossing wooden trestles and passing historic farms. During the two-hour ride you're welcome to visit the open-air passenger car for better views of the scenery and fall leaves. Please select your choice of entrée when reserving: 12-ounce prime rib, baked salmon with lemon, or chicken cordon bleu. Children's entrée is chicken strips. Wine is available for purchase during dinner. Please reserve early, space limited. 3–9 pm; $85 adults, $55 children 10 and under; cancel by August 10 44 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | june / july 2013 Celebrated actor and comedian Martin Short is hitting the stage at the Paramount Theatre for a PG-rated, family friendly, one-man variety performance. Characters from throughout Short's career will be brought back to life, including Franck Eggelhoffer from Father of the Bride, Ned Nederlander of the Three Amigos, and Hollywood agent Jiminy Glick. This oneman show is based on a fake look at Short's life—think Saturday Night Live with Short as the only cast member. The entire show is intended to be highly improvisational, making each show different from the last. In addition to putting his comedic talents to work, Short's performance will involve audience participation. 8 pm; call for pricing; noncancelable/nonrefundable Hitchcock's Psycho with the seattle symphony at benaroya Hall NEW wednesday, october 30 Just in time for Halloween, Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller Psycho comes to life on the big screen at Benaroya Hall.
