Your evening gradually builds from mild to wild with Executive Chef Eric Floyd's celebration buffet, no-host bars, dance hits from across the decades, the craziest favors you've ever seen, and endless confetti to refill your shoes. Giving the Nutcracker a bawdy makeover, this show has delighted thousands of holiday revelers since 2006 in what the Seattle Post- Intelligencer calls a "rollicking, frolicking, unabashed and uninhibited celebration of the season." The expansive, 23,000-square-foot center includes permanent and temporary exhibits of Tulalip history and artifacts, historic canoes and archeology, a longhouse, classrooms, research library, nature preserve, and gift shop. Our one-hour docent tour will take us through the journey of the Tulalip. Find out about their binding relationship to cedar and salmon; see story poles, carvings, and other art; learn of their pride for and remembrance of serving in the military; and begin to understand their values and spiritual beliefs.
