The Seattle Symphony ends its season with a tribute featuring Ellis Hall, a former protégé of Charles. In 2001, Hall met the legendary musical icon. Charles was so taken with Hall's performance power that he took the artist under his wing. The following year, Charles signed Hall as the only other artist on his label, Crossover Records. Following the death of Charles, Hall created a show in his honor—calling it A Tribute to Ray Charles, Motown And Beyond—and performed with symphonies around the world. Champ Ken Jennings at the WAC Wednesday, March 25 Answer: Owner of the longest winning streak in Jeopardy! history. Question: Who is Ken Jennings? Self-professed trivia geek Ken Jennings became a television celebrity in 2004 when he won 74 Jeopardy! games in a row, the longest streak ever. Jennings will add the WAC to his long list of guest appearances when he visits the Club in March. When he's not making guest appearances on television, Jennings is busy writing a trivia column as well as best-selling books for children and adults—all while keeping his sharp wit intact. Jennings will join us to talk about his Jeopardy! experience, including how he broke the "how to play" traditions during his record streak. He'll also discuss how he writes and creates puzzles as well as his love of all things trivia. This special night will include time for audience Q&A—quiz him if you dare! A selection of Jennings' books will be available for purchase and signing.
