FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Modern Manners for Modern Kids
Sunday, October 19
Proper manners travel far beyond "please,"
"thank you," and basic table manners.
Modern Manners for Modern Kids will
focus on all aspects of both table and social
manners. Arden Clise of Clise Etiquette
will use her experience as an etiquette con-
sultant, radio host and columnist to teach
young WAC members the importance of
everyday etiquette. She'll start with social
manners, introductions, and telephone and
email conversations. en she'll talk about
etiquette in public places and common
courtesies. Students will also learn how to
set a table, handle silverware, eat difficult
foods, and interact at a meal. Clise, who
has more than 25 years of experience, will
give each child the knowledge and tools
to understand how to act and why, which
can help build self-confidence. With the
holiday season right around the corner,
this class is the perfect brush-up for those
impending special festivities. Includes
two-hour class, a two-course lunch, and
printed material for review at home.
