35th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition Tuesday, November 25 Known for being part reality show and part comedy club, the Seattle International Comedy Competition is back at the WAC for Night One of Finals Week. e WAC will host America's biggest touring comedy festival in the Crystal Ballroom for a night of the best in standup comedy. e pres- sure is on as the top five comedians take the stage for 20-minute sets of their best mate- rial as they compete for the top spot and a shot at the grand prize. Join us for a night of laughs, which also includes a pasta and salad buffet and a sweet assortment of mini desserts. is isn't your average comedy competition—it's bigger and better. And it's bound to be hilarious! Appropriate for those 21 and older. Evening includes comedy show, dinner buffet, dessert, and validated parking in the WAC Garage. 7 pm buffet, 8–10 pm show; $68 per person for show, dinner, and parking; $360 for a group of six for show, dinner, and parking; $40 per person for show and parking; cancel by November 17 most funky coffee houses from Pike Place Market to Pioneer Square. What's more, the adjacent store in the Central District has a collection of vintage fashions dating back to the 1860s. Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the largest Goodwill in the world, where an average of 10,000 items are sorted every day. Learn about the processing of donations from start to finish—including the production area, online sales, the retail store, and the warehouse. en, explore the green tech- nology incorporated into the Job Training and Education Center and administrative offices. is new three-story building has classrooms and computer labs, a WorkSource drop-in center, and a student lounge. Proceeds from store sales directly fund the free job training and education programs for individuals facing barriers to employment. e programs benefited more than 8,500 people last year.
