THE W A C 's Y ou 're in v ited to F E A S T Former WAC Board of Governors President Robert "Bob" Hutchinson passed away on August 1 at age 94. Known to friends and family as "Hutch," Bob joined the Club in 1957 and served as president from 1971–1972. He was drafted into the U.S. Army from the University of Puget Sound during World War II. He served the Army and the Navy during the war, completing a tour in the Pacific. After he returned to Washington, he spent 40 years working for Simpson Lumber Company and retired as vice president of finance. Known for his civic-mindedness, Bob supported many community organizations, including The Salvation Army and Pacific Science Center.
