F irst and third Wednesdays: 7:30–9:30 pm; free for WAC members Basketball Coach—Donald Watts BARBARA KINNEY Donald Watts, a former Husky and professional basketball player, brings his master coaching to the WAC. Washington State Consensus Player of the Year in 1995, Watts reached his heights in Seattle with two NCAA appearances. He motivates with a progressive technique that combines the mental, physical and technical aspects of the game. Sign up to work on your game one-on-one, with a partner or in a small group. Monday: 11–11:45 am Joints in Motion Ease joint and muscle pain. This class takes participants through gentle rangeof-motion, joint-mobility and flexibility exercises. It is appropriate for those suffering from arthritis or muscle pain and stiffness or those recovering from an injury. M onday/Wednesday: 10:30–11 am; free with Fitness Advantage Age Group Swim Team Build endurance, refine technique, compete and make friends. Learn the latest techniques and technology in and out of the water to take your swimming to the next level. For ages 4 and up. M onday–Thursday: 4–5 pm; through September; $55/month ($45/month for each additional child). Annual USA Swimming Registration fee of $65. Online registration ongoing. Masters Swim Team The Masters Swim Team is a great opportunity for adult swimmers to participate in organized workouts to enhance endurance and improve stroke technique. Master swimmers are encouraged to attend practice regularly and to compete. M onday–Thursday: 6:30–7:30 pm $30/month Private Swim Lessons The WAC aquatics team offers lessons designed to suit anyone's needs. Private lessons available during family swim times, based on instructor availability. For ages 3 and up. P rivate lessons: $35 per lesson; $120 four-lesson package Semiprivate lessons (two-person limit): $45 per lesson; $160 four-lesson package Prices based on 30-minute lesson Cancel 24 hours in advance for refund Tri/Cycle Swim Workouts A WAC Tri/Cycle Club pool workout.
