Pizza Making at Serious Pie 30–31 | Monty Python's Spamalot Opera Night at Ristorante Picolinos Thursday, February 13 February Shakespeare wrote, "If music be the food of love, play on." That quote will certainly apply to our perfect pairing of light opera and Italian dinner at Ristorante Picolinos in Ballard. Artists from Public Opera will perform favorite arias as you bask in the warmth of Picolinos' Old World ambiance while dining on authentic Italian cuisine. Our WAC platinum package includes a private social in Picolinos' heated Winter Garden with hors d'oeuvres and Prosecco (Italian sparkling wine), and preferred seating in the Main Salon for a three-course dinner enhanced by live operatic medleys. Start with a salad of seasonal mixed greens tossed in a light balsamic vinaigrette and then select a classic pasta entrée. For dessert, enjoy platters of European sweets accompanied by a refreshing limoncello cordial. Interspersed throughout the courses, enjoy popular arias, duets, trios, quartets and some fun Italian songs at the end of the show that include audience participation. This pre-Valentine's night of beautiful music, delightful dinner, and a rich Italian setting is not to be missed. Wine and cocktails available on an individual-pay basis. Located across from Pier 57, Copperworks produces its own whiskey, gin and vodka. Each of its specialties start with a well-fermented malted barley beer. To understand the process, Parker has created a hands-on event just for the WAC to participate in 8 | 7th Annual Tubing & Brews 9 | Pacific Northwest Ballet presents The Sleeping Beauty distilling and barreling whiskey. In addition, you may sample their vodka and gin in the tasting room while enjoying dinner from Seattle's food truck Nosh. Nosh was recently featured in Thrillist's list of Top Seattle Food Trucks, with their traditional English fare such as British fish 13 | Opera Night at Ristorante Picolinos 14 | Mark Morris Dance Group 20 | King Street Station & Klondike Gold Rush Museum and chips, meatloaf sandwiches, and fried confit rabbit.
