N E W Bar Tour IV: Underground Bars Saturday, March 19 We have bar-hopped through north and northwest Seattle neighborhoods, explored Capitol Hill hangouts, and made our way from end to end in Georgetown. Now it's time to head down the stairs and explore the subterranean haunts that are sure to become new favorites. We will meet at the WAC and then hit the road in a motor coach as we voyage through Seattle. At each stop we will raise a glass and enjoy some eats. The creative team behind 2013's hit e Hound of the Baskervilles is at it again with more thrills, laughs, and unbelievable deductions. Prior to the performance, enjoy a private social with heavy hors d'oeuvres and your first drink hosted while we learn about the show from the playwright R. Hamilton Wright or the director, Allison Marver. Social and speaker begins at 6 pm followed by performance at 7:30 pm; $68–$78 ESCAPADES Vintage Aircraft at Historic Flight at Kilo 7 Friday, February 26 Located at Paine Field, Historic Flight at Kilo 7 focuses on aviation history from 1927 to 1957, the period between Charles Lindbergh's solo crossing of the Atlantic and the first test flight of the Boeing 707. The museum offers a glimpse into these three momentous decades, housing a collection of restored birds such as a 1939 Waco UPF-7 biplane and a 1942 P-51B Mustang that saw action in World War II. Visitors can inspect each fully functional aircraft up close and possibly even witness new projects in mid-restoration. Videos, pictures and other multimedia accompany each flying relic, helping form a well- rounded appreciation for the eras in which they flew. Prior to our docent tour, enjoy lunch at Arnie's overlooking the Mukilteo waterfront.
