If you've never had the unique thrill of riding in one of these small wonders, here's an opportunity for a quintessential Northwest experience. Take off and land on the water—and soar over Seattle for a bird's-eye view. Before the flight we'll listen to a short presentation from company chairman Gregg Munro, a descendant of one of the original three owners, and tour the airline's brand new state-of-the-art Otter Hangar and mechanics shop. Valid C O U R T E S Y T H O M A S F A M I LY F A R M Zombie Paintball, Corn Maze & More Fall Fun at Thomas Family Farm Saturday, October 10 The apocalypse will arrive this fall at Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish as the undead take over part of the Farm's annual pre-Halloween festivities. Before dark, find the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, go panning for gems at the Thomas Mining Co., shop for homemade gifts in the general store, or visit the beer and wine garden. Then, at dusk, have some frightful fun with the flashlight corn maze and the very popular Zombie Safari Paintball Hayride. Thomas Family Farm humorously describes the hayride as "like a rollercoaster ... with guns ... and people trying to eat you." The paintballs glow in the dark, so there can be no mistaking when your paintball splatters a zombie (i.e., volunteers dressed in full protective gear). You can also purchase tickets for onsite activities such as KUBE 93's haunted house and pre- dusk children's recreation. Our evening base of operation will be a reserved firepit with plenty of s'mores fixings. Outside alcohol is not allowed, but you can bring your own food or purchase from the food court. An 11,000-square-foot barn houses the food court, beer garden, general store, and haunted house, with the maze, pumpkin patch, and kid area nearby. Event includes round-trip motor coach from the WAC, maze, paintball tickets, and fire pit fun. Food, beverages, and other activity fees not included. 4:15–9:15 pm; $42; cancel by October 1 SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2015 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | 41 CLUB PROGRAMS 206.464.3060 • clubprograms@wac.net
