We'll kick off the adventure with a discussion about gun safety instruction, field rules, eye dominance, alignment, and proper stance. We'll wear safety gear, including earplugs and goggles, and get ready to take aim. Instructors will assist you on the field as you shoot up to 50 shots. Then enjoy barbecue and beer at Rooters Famous BBQ. Adventures in Skeet includes round-trip transportation from the WAC, instruction, safety gear, 50 shells, gun rental, beer, and food. Must be 18+ to participate. It's bigger, it's better, and it's going to make you laugh even harder. It's America's biggest touring comedy festival. Twentytwo shows; 25 days; 33 comedians from across the globe; more than $10,000 in cash prizes; and 17 venues, including the WAC. That's right, this is not your typical comedy competition. It draws talent executives from CBS, NBC and movie studios— as well as managers, agents and producers. Kick off night one of the final week at the WAC's "Comedy Club," better known as the Crystal Ballroom. Gear up for an evening of laughs with a bountiful buffet, featuring chipotle steak skewers, chili-lime chicken kabobs, chili con queso quesadillas, and more. Join us for a guided tour of the Belltown campus, a brief overview of the school, and a viewing of student projects. The campus has about 1,900 students and welcomes people of all ages. Programs offered include graphic design, computer animation, fashion and retail management, interior design, culinary arts, industrial design technology and interactive media arts. Many graduates of the institute have gone on to achieve great success, such as working for MTV, Nintendo, Pixar, and Disney Studios. The guided tour will end in the Portfolio Dining Room, where a stunning view of Elliott Bay will complement a gourmet dinner prepared and served by students attending the school's exceptional culinary arts program. The sport dates to the early 1900s and was originally used for practical purposes during wartime as a way to master shooting flying targets. Learn about Chief Seattle and his tribe in a pilgrimage to the new Suquamish Museum, located in the waterfront town of Suquamish, just across the Agate Pass Bridge from Bainbridge Island. The handsome new museum spotlights the chief, other admired tribal leaders, and the history and culture of the Suquamish people.
