Sub Seattle Tour is a humorous ride through Seattle with tales of our subculture rule-breakers and troublemakers. This 90-minute offbeat safari is peppered with irreverent humor about the city's lesser-known history and quirky places. See the house where Kurt Cobain lived (and died); visit Bruce Lee's grave; learn about jazz, grunge, and where Muzak was born; trace the path of Seattle's gay pride parade; and discover the connecting routes of Olmsted-designed parks. You'll see Seattle from the margins of mainstream culture and explore some of its oldest neighborhoods and sites. The 16-person van will pick us up at the WAC. If you'd like to join others for a no-host lunch in Torchy's beforehand (11:30 am), please let us know when reserving. 27 28 Wednesday, February 27 20 21 Sub Seattle Tour 7 | Seattle Men's Chorus: Dancing Queen 11–30 | Jersey Boys 11 & 18 | A Night at the Pier N EW 20 | Children's Spring Party— Featuring "Noiseguy" N EW 21 | More than Just Brunch with Blue Ribbon Cooking School N EW 23 | Cyber Security: Protecting Your Kids 28 | Grey Gardens 1 pm tour; $29; cancel by february 19 children's Spring Party Featuring "Noiseguy" NEW Saturday, April 20 Are you ready for a kids comedy show that incorporates noise, sound, cartoons, props and much more? Charlie uses vocal sounds, imitations, and high energy to animate his hilarious and spellbinding kids comedy show. What exactly what does he do? Well, he doesn't just say the words crash, boom or growl. When he's telling a story, he imitates sound the entire way. He has performed at local schools, libraries, and private events across the country. Reserve early. Show recommended for ages 3–11. Stefanie Thomas, a victim advocate for the Seattle Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children task force, has educated more than 30,000 people in the greater Seattle area concerning online protection.
