You've wanted to do it. Now, we're making it easy. The Seattle Great Wheel is the newest landmark on the waterfront skyline. Standing 175 feet tall, it's the largest observation wheel on the West Coast. Located at the end of Pier 57, the iconic Great Wheel has 42 fully enclosed and heated pods and extends 40 feet beyond the end of the pier over Elliott Bay. Because it is also just a few steps outside Fisherman's Restaurant, we have combined both to make a great evening of dinner and a ride on the wheel. Enjoy watching ferries glide across Puget Sound as you dine on a buffet featuring salmon, pulled pork, beef brisket, Caesar salad, apple cobbler and other delicious items. Chicken strips and fries are included for children of all ages, as are non-alcoholic beverages. Full bar service is available on a no-host basis. At sunset, get ready for the wheel and amazing views of Seattle at dusk. Each pod holds up to 6 people, and you can have your own or share with friends. During your 20- to 25-minute ride, enjoy a special LED light show, done just for us. Before or after dinner and the wheel, stroll the mall inside Pier 57 and visit the shops, ride the carousel or play arcade games to complete this great night at the pier. Price includes buffet and ride on the Seattle Great Wheel. 6:15 pm buffet, 7:45 pm ride; $38 adults, $15 ages 12 and under; cancellations due one week in advance 32 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | FEBRuaRy 2013 WAc Night at Teatro ZinZanni Thursday, February 28 Spend a night at Teatro ZinZanni and find out why it's affectionately known as "love, chaos and dinner." ZinZanni performances are a three-hour whirlwind of international cirque, improvised comedy, and vaudeville—complete with aerial performers, crooners, cabaret artists, and sensuality. They're also served with a five-course feast and elegant libations, all inside an antique Belgian Spiegeltent across from Seattle Center. The newest production is Dinner at Wotan's, a humorous spin on Wagner's The Ring. Join Norse gods Wotan, Thor, Freya, and the gang on an epic adventure as they celebrate the end of the world as they know it and travel to the Nordic Paradise. WAC members have early access for a group photo and will receive their choice of a boa, mask or hat before enjoying a hosted beverage and the evening of entertainment. Price includes boutique gift, beverage voucher, dinner, show, taxes,
