National contender MeMber Carol CoraM has qualified for the usa triathlon National Championships set for august in Milwaukee. Carol, 62, will compete in the 60- to 64-year-old age category at the olympic distance. she qualified based on her performance at multiple usa triathlon-sanctioned events during the 2012 season. This is the second time she qualified for nationals but first time she plans to travel to the event and compete. "i'm excited," she says. "The best part about it is that the trip is a birthday present from my husband." Carol uses the WaC regularly, including for yoga, Pilates, barre, swim and spin workouts. she trains for about 10 hours a week. olympic distance triathlons consist of a 1,500-meter swim, 40-kilometer bike, and 10-kilometer run.
