POSTSCRIPT Photography by Robert Laurent, Janelle Peterson, Terry Propst Text by Robert Laurent Farm-to-Table Dinner at Dog Mountain Farm August 18 Combine a dash of summer weather with a sprinkle of gourmet cuisine, moisten with perfect wine pairings, and season with great company, and you have an unforgettable dinner served outdoors at Dog Mountain Farm in Carnation. After a champagne-and-appetizer welcome, WAC members toured the farm and saw how livestock and produce were tended with care. Guest chefs then prepared dinner with products from the farm and served it in an orchard. The wonderful meal was paired with wines from a local family winery— with two wines named for the young daughters who designed the labels. All in all, it was an exceptional and inimitable Northwest experience that received very high marks from members. 62 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | OCTOBER 2012
