Seattle Lust Tour Tuesday, October 16 For members interested in the darker side of Seattle's history, the Lust Tour offers a provocative narrative of Pike Place Market and the surrounding downtown neighbor- hood before it was converted into today's wholesome family market. Produced by the popular Market Ghost Tours, this adult- themed event recaps Seattle's risqué past, sharing the secrets of First Avenue and why it was once nicknamed "Flesh Avenue." During this 75-minute walking tour, your guide will entertain and expose you to Seattle's lustier side, making Flesh Avenue come to life in true tales of madams, serial killers and 24-hour grindhouses. Learn about the rise of adult entertainment, the sexual revolution, how sexuality defined our city through wealth and corruption, the political movements of the 1970s, and what led to the eventual changes that transformed First Avenue into what it is today. Seattle will appear entirely different after taking this tour. Meet in Lower Torchy's for complimentary appetizers and no-host beverages before we walk together to meet our guide at the corner of First Avenue and Union Street. 5:30 pm social, 6:30 pm tour; $30; cancel by October 8; 18 and over only
