Winemaker Dinner guests clink glasses and swap stories with some of the "it" names in the wine industry, all while enjoying the best of the best from Executive Chef Eric Floyd. "These are the premiere wine-and-food events at the Club," says Vice President Food & Beverage Robert Bonina, who hosts each evening. "If you like wine and want to expand your wine-drinking experience, you won't find a better way to do it." October's Winemaker Dinner features Reininger Winery, which embodies the ongoing success of the Walla Walla Valley and continues to score high marks from The Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator magazine. This summer's warm weather, combined with new vineyard acreage around the state, has Washington winemakers expecting a record harvest this fall. We're talking 200,000 tons of grapes, or enough to make about 12 million cases of wine. That would shatter the old state record of 160,000 tons, harvested in 2010. To celebrate the season, Torchy's is offering some fantastic wine deals. Drop by for some of the best varietals from years past— including our last-call list of vintages with just one bottle left in the cellar—and toast to the bottles yet to come. Also, enter our drawing to win a tour of Chateau Ste. Michelle, or buy a bottle and you could win two tickets to a Winemaker Dinner. Let the corks fly!
