9th Annual Scavenger Hunt
on Lake Union
Friday, July 22
One of our most popular events, this year's
Scavenger Hunt consisted of six teams in
heated competition for first place. All had to
solve a host of cryptic clues related to Lake
Union and return to the dock. This year's
winner was the yellow lei team, captained by
Ron Robin. Second place went to Maureen
Sansbury's blue lei team. In third was John
Jensen's orange lei group. If there were a
prize for best appearance, it would have gone
to Mendy Droke's team—they came dressed
as the cast of Gilligan's Island, complete
with male and female Mary Anns. It all added
up to great summer fun on the water.
