Before coming to Seattle, he lived in Nepal as a refugee for 18 years. ✪ Tobgey has three children. ✪ Tobgey and his family were able to come to America through the International Organization for Migration. He has lived in Seattle for seven years. DID YOU KNOW? ✪ Eric rides his bike every day. ✪ He loves hiking on his days off. ✪ Eric's favorite thing is to be on the water—whether on a boat, kayak, paddleboard, or swimming. DID YOU KNOW? ✪ When she's not working, Laura loves to read fiction. ✪ One of her favorite activities is to take her niece to the movies. ✪ Laura was born in Mexico City. AMANDA WIDDICE REVENUE & RESERVATIONS MANAGER, INN AT THE WAC Amanda began at the WAC front desk as Reservations Manager in 2007. In 2013, she was asked to lead the revenue program at the Inn. Vice President Operations Bill Cohen describes Amanda as a huge contributor to the success of the Inn. "She is extremely detail orientated and continuously strives to make herself and those she works with better each and every day," Bill says. Director of Hotel Operations Kamil Turczanski calls Amanda a key leader at the Inn. "She is dependable, hard working, insightful, and persistent," he says. "She holds the best interests of the Club in all her doings and is one of the leaders that creates significant and visible positive impacts on our organization." Amanda enjoys her job and finds pleasure in taking care of the needs of members and guests. "It is exciting because every day there is something new," she says. DID YOU KNOW? ✪ Amanda lived in Kansas for 18 years before moving to Texas, where she experienced her first tornado—which compelled her to move back to Kansas. ✪ Amanda is a member of the Ed Waite Dawn Patrol Toastmasters Club and is serving as 2016–2017 club president. ✪ Amanda has worked at the WAC for eight years and says she still loves her job every day.
