Our "hot party" is a group glassblowing workshop at Seattle Glassblowing Studio. The "hot" refers to the state-of-the-art hot shop and 2,000-degree kilns—and to the popularity of these classes, which sell out every year. Join us and create two items (such as pumpkins, apples, ornaments, bowls, or vases) with assistance from the studio's professional glassblowing team. The artists will help as you select your colors, dip the molten blob into crushed glass, fire it in the kilns, and then blow it to the perfect size and shape. After cooling a few days, your objets d'art will be available for pickup at the WAC. The evening includes wine, beer, bottled water, and a dinner buffet. The relaxed setup allows you to eat while watching others take THE INN AT THE WAC | 206.464.3055 | innreservations@wac.net BOOK YOUR FAL L GETAWAY Recharge, renew, refresh, rekindle with your own private club SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2015 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | 43 CLUB PROGRAMS 206.464.3060 • clubprograms@wac.net
