consciousness." Join our private WAC night for the revival of their 2010 hit Sauced, where a gin joint is the setting for a noir tale of dames, detectives, deals, and a flight of cocktails. Re-creating a jazzy speakeasy in the 1930s, the evening is one part historical tour of mixology and one part clever thriller, shaken and served up with a dash of the surreal. Perfectly poured classic cocktails will be paired with Chef Nordo's creative five-course menu. Sip and taste as you eavesdrop on a story of femme fatales, shady investigations, and betrayal, backed by live music that harkens back to another era. Event includes cocktail flight (or wine), five courses, performance, and tax and gratuity. Additional beverages available for purchase. An online review enthused: "Don't even question this Café Nordo thing … just sign yourself up!" 7 pm; $80 ($62 without beverage package); cancel by October 20 N E W Jubilee Casino Dealer Training November 16, 23 & 30 Mark your calendars now: Jubilee 86 is set for Friday, December 4. A great way to take part in our annual gala is to volunteer as dealers and assistants in the Jubilee Casino. Hone your skills or learn to play craps, roulette and blackjack—or volunteer to be a card shuffler and runner. Returning dealers help teach new dealers in our informative, fun and casual training sessions that include a light dinner buffet and beverages. It's a great way to meet other members and is perfect for singles or couples. New dealers should attend all three sessions. If you're interested in volunteering, can attend the training sessions, and can work a two-hour shift at Jubilee, contact Club Programs Casino Coordinator Robert Laurent at rlaurent@ wac.net or 206.464.3061. 6–8 pm; complimentary; WAC members only ESCAPADES Living Computer Museum Tour Friday, August 14 The Living Computer Museum opened its doors in October 2012 next to Starbucks headquarters in SoDo.
