A ugust is a spectacular month in Seattle. The sun is shining, people are boating, and Seahawks football is back! This year, the Seahawks take on the Detroit Lions at home in a Monday Night Football matchup on October 5. This triennial meeting won't happen again until 2018, giving you plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the striking Detroit Athletic Club. Founded in 1887 by a group of amateur athletes, the Detroit Athletic Club built its current clubhouse in 1915 to house a variety of athletic pursuits.
