20s/30s Day at Safeco
WAC/MAC Partnership
Saturday, June 6
Seattle shone brightly during our
20s/30s evening at Safeco Field.
Felix Hernandez took the mound, the
King's Court was rocking, and Lookout
Landing was full of members from the
WAC and Portland's MAC. Oh, and yes,
the Mariners won. More than 70 WAC
and MAC members flooded Safeco
Field for the summertime classic.
They ate, drank and cheered their way
through nine innings of baseball—
and were surprised to see the WAC's
name appear on the giant scoreboard.
A surprise visit by Star Wars Scout
Troopers added an extra twist to the
night. Cheers to a great partnership,
and we hope to see you at the ballpark
next year!
