COMPARATIVE CLUB COST *Firm pricing available in all membership categories. Pricing available as of press time. L ooking back on the past fiscal year, it's amazing to realize how much we accomplished in 12 months. And I'm thrilled about the things we have in store for the next year. So many exciting projects are on the horizon—all intended to enhance the experience both for current and new members. After all, the WAC's vision to be the premier city athletic club in America drives us toward constant improvement. So I'd like to highlight just a few upcoming additions and enhancements that are designed to make your membership more rewarding, useful, and convenient: • Updates to the 7th Floor Women's Locker Room, including new anti-slip floor tile and shower tile in the area next to the hot tub • Launch of a WAC corporate wellness program designed to help members reach peak performance inside and outside the office • New fitness classes and athletics events • More choices for grab-and-go food service in the Sports Café and Club Shop to keep our busy members moving and well-nourished • Celebration and rewards for membership referrals through our new WAC Membership All-Star program • More improvements to our Wi-Fi service to improve our technology backbone and make doing business at the Club even easier And see the full list of upcoming projects in Paul Lowber's article on page 22. I, for one, can't wait to see the positive impact these changes will have on WAC members! Because everything we do is for our members. In fact, even though 2013–2014 was our strongest membership year in more than a decade, that's not enough. We want to do even better next year. To that end, your enthusiastic support remains essential. We thank you for the ways you enhance Club events, strengthen our mission, and share the WAC with family and friends who are not members … yet! We will continue to rely on our members—our most visible and trusted ambassadors—to help us with this important work. What else can you do, you ask? Talk about the Club often. Help us continue to establish strong footing for the Club's next 85 years. Take a moment to think about how you might best share the WAC with someone who could use it. Contact Member Services at 206.464.3068 or membership@wac.net and let us offer a hand. We're so excited to offer our new Membership All-Star program. This program will reward members who serve as the primary sponsor for three or more new members in 2014–2015 with $500 in WACash. It's our way of saying thanks. And another way we say thanks is by keeping the costs of membership in the Club manageable. (See how our rates compare to other clubs in the accompanying chart.) The WAC is in all our hands. Together, we can make this club and its membership better than ever before. Exciting plans ahead The member experience will only get better (and more irresistible to share)!
