MARCH APRIL MAY JUNE JULY Special Olympics Washington Power Lifting Invitational is as inspirational as ever. WAC's partnership with Special Olympics Washington continues to grow. WeeWACs successfully completes second year of full-day program, designed to offer additional daycare services to our littlest members as well as to stabilize revenues. Club Programs' year ends with more than 13,000 members and their guests attending 305 events. Inn at the WAC's Firm Rate Agreement Program produces higher-than- expected results. Inn is expecting a record 82-percent occupancy and 4-percent revenue increase in 2014- 2015. Fiscal 2013–2014 ends with more than 600 new Club members (Welcome to every one of you! ) as well as record-breaking participation in Fitness Advantage and overall Athletics offerings. Installation of a fiber optic cable improves our internet's bandwidth and speed. Doing business at the Club gets even easier. Annual fitness equipment replacement continues with upgrades to cardiovascular and resistance equipment. Club hosts Pacific Coast Athletic Clubs basketball tournament. WAC Women's team shows some serious hustle and takes the division title. The Club also hosts several state and local handball and racquetball competitions. As an important safety upgrade, new carbon dioxide sensor in WAC Garage goes operational. Garage continues to provide discount rates to members. Summer weddings are in full swing. Fiscal 2013–2014 sees 21% increase in revenue from wedding events. All 109 Inn at the WAC rooms receive new bed covers— enhancing both style and comfort. The WAC is the official athletic club of the Seafair Triathlon. And speaking of Seafair, we welcome back the Blue Angels this year!
