She is pictured here with some of the new citizens and with Anne Arries Corsano, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services district director. W e were thrilled to see Secretary of the Interior and WAC member Sally Jewell back in Seattle this past August. She returned home to attend the swearing in of 19 new U.S. citizens at an outdoor ceremony in south Seattle and delivered the keynote address. We caught up with Sally for a few minutes afterward. 16 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | OCTOBER 2013 She told us she'd been in Women's Fitness at 5:45 that same morning and was glad to get back to the Clubhouse. Sally was sworn in as the 51st Secretary of the Interior this past April after being nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate. Can you tell we're just a little proud?
