S E P T E M BE R | 2 0 1 3 Off TO EuROPE Due to the popularity of the charter trip to Europe in 1962, WAC members arranged a second trip, with 120 seats available. The trip cost $342, which included round-trip flights, meals, open bar service, and 66 pounds of luggage. The trip began in London and concluded 25 days later in Amsterdam. GlEE CluB The WAC's Men's Glee Club performed "Top Tunes of the Times" at its annual spring concert. Showcased songs included HanDBall naTiOnalS 1 The WAC sponsored the 13th annual national four-wall handball championships. The nation's best handball players competed on the Club's courts. It was the first time the tournament was hosted in the Pacific Northwest. nEw ROOMS After a year of renovation, nine floors of hotel rooms were completed. The rooms featured printed draperies, imported carpets, and new dressers.
