Although this was his family's first time living here, Richard had visited the city many times before while working for Washington Mutual. "I was up in Seattle a lot for business," Richard recalls. "Many of those times I stayed next door at the Hilton." In his new role, Richard met members of the Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union board, including Rodney and Grace. "I took a tour of the WAC and the first thing that impressed me was how well established it is," Richard says. "It's an amazing facility. There is so much here." Since becoming a WAC member, Richard has enjoyed discovering the benefits of membership. "It is a great place for business," he says. "We've done some team building and strategic planning here with great rooms, food and service. And when we have business associates in town we put them up at the Inn." Richard and his wife, Brenda, also have future plans for their kids. "We have a baby boy at home," Richard says. "Once he's old enough, we'll want to take advantage of WeeWACs and get our daughter into some swimming lessons."
