Board of Governors Board of Governors Nominations 2013���2016 T he Board of Governors election takes place in May. You may nominate other qualified candidates by listing their names on the form provided in your April billing statement. If 5 percent or more of the current WAC membership nominates one or more additional WAC members, then an election will be held and the candidates receiving the most votes will fill the available positions. If no additional qualified nominations come from the membership, the initial slate of nominees shall be declared elected at the May meeting of the Board of Governors. Nominees begin their terms on August 1, the beginning of the 2013 WAC fiscal year. All actions and procedures are in accordance with WAC Bylaws, which have been designed to assure the WAC of optimum representation by members who have the time and qualifications to best represent the WAC membership. The Washington Athletic Club Nominating Committee, Executive Committee, and Board of Governors are proud to present the nominees for the nine Resident positions and 10 Non-Resident positions on the Board of Governors. Board positions are for a three-year term from August 1, 2013, through July 31, 2016.
