New lobby draws near Club���s main entry brightens as construction continues W e���re more than halfway through the Gateway Project, and the new-look WAC Lobby is starting to appear in the wake of construction. Since our update in the March edition of WAC Magazine, we���ve moved forward with restoration of the original crown molding uncovered during early demolition. By the time you read this, not only will molding restoration be near completion, but most ceiling work will also be done. Electrical updates should likewise be nearly finished. You likely have noticed sections of new molding, as well. The biggest development in April, however, will be nearly impossible to miss. Workers should be well under way pouring the new terrazzo floor. The Club will remain open and fully operational during this time, though members and guests will need to follow posted detours. As we get closer to putting the final touches on the renovated space, we look forward to the arrival of new area rugs as well as an espresso cart inside the WAC Club Shop.
