CLUB PROGRAMS 206.464.3060 • clubprograms@wac.net The World at Your Feet: Pande Cameron on Carpets Tuesday, April 24 With vibrant colors and patterns, oriental carpets are a beautiful addition and asset to any décor. Brad Andonian, of established Seattle-based company Pande Cameron, is an expert in this subject and is coming to the WAC to teach you what he knows. He'll have examples of rugs to show you differences to look for when purchasing, and he'll impart knowledge about the history of the ancient art of rug-making. Andonian also will discuss the questions to ask when choosing a rug that best suits your needs and how to care for it after you've made the investment. His expertise will be put to the test as we invite members to bring their own rugs to this event for an ad hoc appraisal. Quality is an unwritten word in the Pande Cameron name, so you know you'll be learning from Seattle's best. 7 pm; $45; cancel by April 16 Not-Its!, won a "Fids & Kamily Music Award" as one of the best family music albums of 2009. Oh yeah, and these musicians also may be the nation's best-dressed kids' band, sporting skinny pink ties and fluffy pink tutus. So put on your party pants and get ready to rock at the Children's Spring Party. 11 am; complimentary; cancel by April 6 Father Son Banquet WAC Olympics LXXX Thursday, June 21 NEW 80th Annual August 2012 brings the Summer Olympics to London, and on June 21 the spirit of the Summer Games will be alive at the WAC.
