Growing up in a musical household, O'Connor found Christmastime a wondrous mix of carols and traditional American music. He brings that same spirit to his critically acclaimed album, An Appalachian Christmas. O'Connor's creative journey began at the feet of a pair of musical giants. His mentors included Texas old-time fiddler Benny Thomasson and French jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli, with whom O'Connor toured as a teenager.
