He even goes to the batting cages every once in a while. DID YOU KNOW? ✪ Bert's wife, Emma, works in Women's Fitness. ✪ He often spends mornings working in his private business before coming to work at the WAC. ✪ After work, he often attends St. James Cathedral with Emma. DID YOU KNOW? ✪ In 2008, Myk moved with his family from Ukraine to the U.S. ✪ He loves watching and playing sports and enjoys canoeing in particular. ✪ Traveling and discovering new places with family and friends is one of Myk's favorite things to do. Right now, his favorite vacation spot is Harrison Hot Springs in British Columbia. Teamworks JARED JOHNSTON RESTAURANT MANAGER Jared came to the WAC from Buca di Beppo. Their loss was definitely our gain. Jared is one of the most appreciated and respected managers at the WAC, as evidenced by a nomination signed by no fewer than 15 Torchy's and Hagerty's team members. His staff describes Jared as the unsung hero of the 2nd Floor. His confident yet easy demeanor makes the staff feel comfortable seeking him out for guidance or assistance. And he often goes above and beyond to make them feel prepared, supported and valued. "We are lucky to have so many great qualities all wrapped up in one manager," Vice President Food & Beverage Peter Christian says, praising Jared's consistent and upbeat personality. Staff members describe Jared as honest, dependable and capable. Jared says the favorite part of his job is the people he works with. "There isn't one I don't like," he says. Jared was recently promoted to Restaurant Operations Manager. DID YOU KNOW? ✪ Jared has traveled to 17 different countries. ✪ He enjoys spending time at the beach with his "fur kids"—aka two dogs—on his days off. ✪ Jared considers his mother his best friend.
