Oktoberfest at Von Trapp's Thursday, October 2 Last year was so much fun we had to do it again. It's an evening of beer, brats, and bocce during Oktoberfest celebration week at Von Trapp's on Capitol Hill. Von Trapp's is a stunning, enormous "bier hall" and restaurant that features authentic Bavarian fare and atmosphere. We've reserved three bocce ball courts and the mez- zanine dining level. Family-style platters will allow you to try a variety of the res- taurant's signature items, including housemade sausages, Bavarian meatloaf sliders, housemade pretzels with cheese sauce, and more. You'll receive coupons for two glasses of wine or beer or for a small beer sampler. Additional beverages, including cocktails, are available on an individual pay basis. e staff will be in costume, so feel free to don your lederhosen. Dinner, two drinks, optional bocce, and themed favors included. Members are invited to volunteer as dealers and assistants in the Jubilee Casino. Returning dealers help train new dealers to work the game tables or assist as card shufflers and runners. Training sessions are informative, fun, and casual, and they include a light dinner buffet and beverages. It's a great way to meet other members, and it is perfect for singles or couples. New dealers should attend all three sessions. If you can attend the train- ing sessions and volunteer for a two-hour shift on December 5 (then you can enjoy the party for yourself for the rest of the evening), please contact Club Programs ++++ a 3 | Your Brain on Seahawks 3–28 | A Chorus Line 6 | Huskies vs. Eastern Washington 9, 16, 23, 30 | WAC Toastmasters 13 | Huskies vs. Illinois 14 | Pioneers Come Alive at Lake View Cemetery 14 | Tailgate at the WAC!
