For younger members By Michelle Van Slack, Director Member Services Y oung adults, juniors, tweens, kids—whatever name they choose to go by, they are welcome at the WAC! Here are some policies to know about the younger set at our Club. Membership cards: Junior members need to have their membership card updated every two years. Access: Juniors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult member at all times. Fitness areas: Junior members ages 13–15 are welcome to use Men's, Women's or Coed Fitness areas unattended if an orientation with a trainer has been completed. Children ages 10–12 must be with an adult member at all times. Children age 9 and under require advance permission from Athletics management to work out; daily use fees apply. Guests of juniors: Junior members may welcome up to three guests (over the age of 12) to use any of the athletic courts and/or the pool. Junior guests must sign in at the 6th Floor Sport Shop. Daily use fees apply. Guests of members who are under age 17 are not permitted in Men's, Women's or Coed Fitness. Inn: Young adults ages 18–20 may only reserve guest rooms at the Inn with written authorization from the adult listed on their membership.
