They are dedicated to maintaining the WAC's tradition of excellence. In addition to their willingness to give of their time and professional skills to help steward this organization, they also possess other common characteristics. They are passionate advocates of the Club and committed recruiters of new members. They exemplify the Club's values of leadership, excellence, integrity, service, and sensitivity. They have been members for at least five years. The incoming board members listed here join 28 existing board members, all of whom have committed to a three-year term. Many board members , in turn, also chair committees. Those committees, which are composed of other member leaders, offer guidance on essential aspects of the Club—Athletics, Finance, Operations, Membership & Marketing, Club Programs, Food & Beverage, & HR and Benefits, just to name a few. WAC member leaders are a supportive and valued partner to the Executive Management Team. We are lucky to have such devoted volunteers at our helm. When you see any of these new board members or our other board and committee members around the Club, please say hello. If you hope to be in their shoes one day, ask them what steps they took to get here. Then start taking those steps yourself. We are always keeping an eye out for our future leaders. We know this Club is full of them.
