Games take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights during winter in the 8th Floor gym. Teams for new and returning players are all deter- mined by draft in mid–September. League includes 14 regular season games, playoffs, and a postseason banquet. Divisions: A, B, C, 40-plus, 50-plus. Note: Players ages 50 and up will play a split season, from September through December and January through March for $62.50 each Handball Instruction Members of the WAC Handball Club are offering free instruction for beginner and intermediate players by appointment. WAC members of all ages are welcome. Come experience the game of handball. Barre A lively fusion of ballet conditioning, Pilates and yoga. Tuesday/Thursday: 7–7:50 am, 11 am–11:50 am, 6:15–7:05 pm Saturday: 12–12:50 pm; Sunday: 1–1:50 pm Boot Camp Intermediate/Advanced strength conditioning. Monday/ Wednesday/Friday: 1:30–2:30 pm; Note: See Aquatics entry for Aqua Boot Camp. Boxing Conditioning Train like the pros without the black eye. Class includes work with heavy bags and focus mitts as well as light sparring and jump rope exercise. Gloves available or bring your own. Tuesday/Thursday: 12–1 pm Sunday: 3:30–4:30 pm Cycle & Core Forty-five minutes of cycling to get your heart pumping and calories burning, followed by a 15-minute core- strengthening workout. Monday/ Wednesday: 12–1 pm Tuesday/Thursday: 5:45–6:45 am Cy–TRX Back to back intervals of cycling and TRX. Monday–Thursday: 10:45–11:45 am Friday: 12–1 pm Dance Cardio A mix of hip hop, Latin, and funk to challenge your cardiovascular endurance. Wednesday: 5:30–6:30 pm Friday: 11 am–12 pm; Saturday: 12–1 pm Endurance Cycle A 60-minute cycle class that incorporates measuring RPMs and wattage to build endurance and burn calories. Tuesday/Thursday: 7–8:15 am (finishes with 15 minutes of core), 5:30–6:30 pm Saturday: 7:30–8:30 am Groove Cycle A music-driven calorie burn. Tuesday: 6:30–7:30 pm Kalorie Killer A nonstop step aerobics and muscular endurance class. Saturday: 8:45–10 am Pilates Mat Strengthen abdominals, gluteals and lower back muscles as you lengthen and improve alignment, coordination and balance. Monday/ Wednesday/Friday: 7–8 am, 12:10–1 pm Tuesday/Thursday: 5:10–6 pm Sunday: 12–12:50 pm See Pilates section for apparatus instruction Pilates Flo Pilates-inspired workout moves from pose to pose to develop overall strength and flexibility. Friday: 7–8 am RIP–Flex–TRX Challenge your strength, core stability and balance from all angles with the RIP trainer along with TRX and free-weights. Tuesday/Thursday: 1:30–2:30 pm Sunday: 8:45–10 am Sculpt Circuit A highly efficient workout utilizing a variety of fitness tools in a circuit- style format to elevate the heart rate and burn more calories. Tuesday: 6–7 am Step & Sculpt Includes step and resistance training. Monday: 5:30–6:30 pm Thursday: 6–7 am Total Body Conditioning A music-driven, fast-paced strength and cardio workout. Monday/ Wednesday: 6–7 am TRX The TRX suspension training system uses body-weight and manipulates gravity using the leverage of various positions to improve muscular strength and endurance. Monday: 6:30–7:30 pm Tuesday/Thursday: 9:45–10:30 am (express) Friday: 6–7 am, 11–11:45 am (express) TRX Core Core strength and abdominal work.
